The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 115.1 million, as of Thursday morning, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update, the University revealed that the current global caseload stood at 115,174,000, while the global death toll stood at 2,559,000. Over 65.1 million patients have recovered from the disease.
