KOICA Jordan Office, in collaboration with the KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan (KAAJ), successfully conducted a knowledge-sharing seminar on April 29, 2026, at the Rotana Hotel. The seminar focused on “Capacity Building on Strengthening Statistical Ability for SDG Indicators” and explored various topics related to technology’s role in enhancing digital learning frameworks to drive innovation and sustainability.

The seminar aimed to disseminate the knowledge and lessons learned from the KOICA training program on the same topic, which was conducted in 2025 with the participation of three officials from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC).

During the seminar, discussions highlighted the significant role of technological advancements in improving the quality of education, enhancing accessibility, and supporting long-term development outcomes.

The seminar was attended by 40 participants from various government institutions, including the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

Since 1991, KOICA has been providing training programs to Jordan as part of its CIAT (Capacity Improvement and Advancement for Tomorrow) program, aimed at enhancing human resource capacity for the country’s socio-economic development. Over 1,233 Jordanian officials have participated in training programs in Korea to date.
