Antigua and Barbuda embassy celebrates national day

The Antigua and Barbuda embassy in Amman Tuesday evening held a ceremony marking the 37th anniversary of its independence, which was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Trade, Chet Greene, and saw a wide official attendance.
During the ceremony, Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to Amman, Sami Mufleh, stressed his country’s keenness to boost ties with Jordan, adding Greene’s visit to Jordan comes to take part in the independence celebrations.
Mufleh reviewed Antigua and Barbuda’s development and growth in various fields, especially the rule of law, human rights situation, faith tolerance, and pursuit to create a better future.
The ambassador underlined the importance of the embassy’s key role, which was inaugurated recently in Jordan, will play in the Middle East.
Jordan and Antigua and Barbuda established diplomatic relations in 2016.
