In a blend of mild and hot conditions, Jordan experiences a captivating weather contrast. While most regions bask in moderate summer temperatures, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba face scorching heat, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
Skies will showcase a display of clouds at various altitudes in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, with moderate northwesterly winds, occasionally picking up, the JMD added.
As temperatures inch higher on both Wednesday and Thursday, the Kingdom braces for a transition to the familiar atmosphere of a typical warm summer. While most areas experience normal summer weather, the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba continue to endure intense heat.
Today’s peak temperatures will be between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 17 or even 15C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have sweltering weather, with highs of 40C and lows of 25C.
