Israeli airstrikes devastate Gaza, leaving dozens dead, many trapped under rubble

In a pre-dawn attack on Monday, Israeli warplanes unleashed a dozens of rockets and concussion bombs, targeting the town of Jabalia camp and other locations in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources observed massive explosions, with flames and smoke enveloping the northeastern part of the Strip. Tragically, the strike completely demolished a home in Jabalia camp, leaving it reduced to rubble, along with neighboring houses that suffered severe damage.

Additionally, the sources have grimly reported a substantial loss of life, with numerous fatalities, while scores of individuals have sustained various injuries.

Heartbreakingly, many remain trapped beneath the debris, as civil defense teams valiantly work to rescue survivors amidst the harrowing conditions and the scarcity of essential equipment.

Disturbingly, more than half of the casualties, both fatalities and injuries, are reported to be children, women, and elderly individuals.
