Moroccan maestro and composer Amine Budchar unveiled details of his “You Are the Choir” project during a press conference held on Wednesday at the Grand Hyatt Amman, ahead of his participation in the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts.

Budchar explained that the project is built around direct audience participation, transforming attendees into an integral part of the performance and breaking the traditional boundaries between the stage and the audience.

He noted that the project aims to build cultural bridges through music by blending Arab and Maghrebi musical heritage with a contemporary orchestral vision.

Budchar also pointed out that “You Are the Choir” has been presented in several cities around the world, receiving strong audience engagement. He expressed his excitement about meeting the Jordanian audience during the performance scheduled for Wednesday evening as part of the festival’s activities.
