PM visits UK embassy to condole over Queen death

Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, accompanied by several ministers, visited the British Embassy in Amman on Sunday and offered condolences over the death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.

The premier recorded a speech to put in the condolences book opened by the embassy, where he expressed the government’s and people’s sincere consolation and solidarity with the government and people of the United Kingdom in these difficult times.

“The passing away of Queen Elizabeth II is a great loss not only for the UK and its people but also for the world,” Khasawneh emphasized.

Other ministers who offered tributes are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan, Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim Al-Jazi, and Minister of State for Media Affairs Faisal Shboul.
