Qatar sees 277 new coronavirus cases

 The Qatari Ministry of Health on Monday said that 277 new COVID-19 infections were recorded during the last 24 hours, including 259 local cases.

In a statement, the ministry said that the death toll in the country stood at 244, while the infection tally hit 249,137, adding that some 123 new patients have recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 144,981.
