 Acting US Homeland Security Secretary, Chad Wolf, abruptly announced his resignation on Monday, according to the Fox News and other US agencies.

A senior US administration official said that Wolf’s resignation took effect at 11:59 last night.

Last week, Wolf condemned the “tragic” attack on the Capitol by Trump’s supporters.
