Cold weather, frost formation forecast today

 The weather on Tuesday is expected to be cold in most regions of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be fair, with easterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Toward night, the weather will become chilly with a possibility of frost formation over highlands and in parts of the Badia regions, the JMD added.

The weather department also warned of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia, and of frost formation in the early morning hours and midnight over highlands.

Over the next two days, similar conditions will continue, with clouds at various altitudes and easterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.

Temperatures in Amman for today will reach 13 Celsius degrees, dropping to 6C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding into 13C during night time.
