PLO: Palestine will cut off ties with any country moves embassy to Jerusalem

Palestine will cut off all ties with any country that would move its embassy to the occupied city of Jerusalem, Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) executive committee, Saeb Erekat, said on Sunday.

“We will make tremendous efforts to prevent violations of international law and stop the transfer of any embassy to Jerusalem, but if any country insists and moves its embassy, the State of Palestine will cut off its relations and withdraw its ambassador,” Erekat said in a tweet on his official Twitter account.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, earlier announced that Serbia and Kosovo intend to transfer their embassies to the occupied city of Jerusalem.
