Brazil: 1,215 new COVID-19 deaths, 42,659 infections

Petra// Brazil’s Ministry of Health announced that 1,215 new deaths and 42,659 additional cases from the coronavirus were recorded during the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said that COVID-19 death toll in Brazil, the world’s No. 2 coronavirus hot spot after the United States, reached 122,596 along with 3,950,931 infections, according to the state’s agency.
