Jordan to host 36th meeting of Islamic Chamber of Commerce in 2024

The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) will play host to the 36th meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture’s Board of Directors in February 2024.
The event, held annually, will bring together delegates from various Islamic nations under one roof to discuss strategies aimed at enhancing trade and investment opportunities in the region and bolstering economic ties among Islamic countries.
The decision to hold the meeting in Jordan was announced after the conclusion of the 35th session, which was successfully held in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, JCC board member Bahjat Hamdan emphasized the significance of these meetings as crucial platforms for exchanging insights and formulating effective mechanisms to harness untapped potentials in the Islamic economies.
Furthermore, he revealed plans for an investment conference focused on the burgeoning digital economy, which will be conducted in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce on the sidelines of the main event.
Established in 1976 in Karachi, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce has its regional headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It serves as the primary voice of the private sector across 57 Islamic nations, working diligently to strengthen cooperation and facilitate trade across diverse sectors.
