Temperatures are expected to drop few degrees, becoming around the seasonal average and bringing relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and moderate conditions in other regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
Mercury levels will continue to dip on Wednesday, marking few degrees below the annual average, and triggering pleasant conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba where it will remain relatively hot, the JMD added.
Clouds at low altitudes are also expected to appear in the northern region, with a weak chance for light showers in the early morning hours over limited parts of the western areas, the meteorologists predicted.
Today, mercury in the capital Amman will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 16C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sweltering 36, sliding to 25C at night.
