Pleasant weather to prevail Wednesday as temperatures dip

Pleasant weather conditions are forecast to prevail on Wednesday in the high areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes, bringing a chance for scattered showers in the northern region, with westerly brisk winds, the JMD added.
On Thursday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected to become near their seasonal average, with moderate weather prevailing in the high areas and relatively hot conditions in other regions.
Hot weather will make a comeback on Friday with another rise in mercury levels.
Today, mercury in Amman is expected to range between a high of 27 degrees Celsius, dropping to 16C at night, meanwhile, the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 36C, dipping to 24 during night hours.
