House speaker, Qatari ambassador talk relations

Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Abdul Karim Dughmi on Sunday met Qatar’s ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani to discuss relations.

According to a lower house statement, Dughmi stressed the deep-rooted relations established by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Dughmi said Jordan is committed to boosting ties, namely in the investment field, commending Qatar’s support in providing 10,000 job opportunities for Jordanian youth.

The Qatari envoy highlighted the strong relations between Jordan and Qatar, pointing to an agreement that will be signed to train Jordanians wishing to work in Qatar.
