Monday, His Majesty King Abdullah received cables from leaders of Arab, Muslim and friendly countries on Jordan\u2019s 75th Independence Day, which falls on May 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
King Abdullah also received cables from senior officials and officers, as well as representatives of civil society organizations, who all noted that the occasion this year coincides with the centennial of the state, highlighting the country\u2019s achievements and advancements throughout its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They commended His Majesty\u2019s efforts in leading Jordan towards further development, noting his key role in defending Arab and Muslim causes, and safeguarding Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, in line with the Hashemite Custodianship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II received similar cables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
