Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to build up in the northern and central areas of the country, with westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.<\/strong>
Thursday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with low clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times, the JMD noted.<\/strong>
On Friday, mercury levels will drop few degrees, so it will be cold and partly cloudy with a chance of spotty showers in the northern and central highlands, the department predicted.<\/strong>
Toward night, skies will gradually clear and rainfall will taper off, the JMD further said.<\/strong>
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom will range between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius today, dropping to 3 at night. In the Red Sea port of Aqaba, it will be much warmer with mercury levels reaching 23C.<\/strong>
