The Forest of Memories project, supported by the National Trust, invites Britons to pay tribute to their loved ones who died from COVID-19 by planting a tree for each across the United Kingdom, through registrations on an online platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To launch the project, organisers have set up a memorial near Windsor, where they tie hundreds of yellow ribbons corresponding to the registered victims and some mourners also come in person to hang their own ribbon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organizers hope to have seven forests created across the country by Spring 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
