China\u2019s National Health Commission (NHC) on Monday announced that 33 new confirmed COVID-19 infections were recorded over the last 24 hours, of which 20 were imported.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NHC said in its daily brief that “the 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland reported 40 new asymptomatic cases, including 26 imported cases.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, the total caseload on the Chinese mainland has reached 87,150 by Sunday, while the death toll stood at 4,634 as a result of the virus, according to the commission.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
