On Thursday, the Kingdom is expected to bake in a blazing heat wave that will push mercury levels 4-5 degrees beyond their seasonal average. The Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and the port city of Aqaba are set to swelter in scorching weather, the Department predicted.<\/p>\n
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 20, while it will hit 27 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 15. Highs in Aqaba will reach 39 degrees, while lows will stand at 25 at night.<\/p>\n
