This\u00a0latest funding round secured further investments from\u00a0leading investor Wamda\u00a0Capital, followed by\u00a0Aramex, and new investments from Anova\u00a0Investments, 500 Falcons, Endeavor\u00a0Catalyst\u200b,\u00a0and others\u200b.\u00a0\u00a0The round reflects the strong\u00a0demand for investors within\u00a0the Arabic content and e\u200b-commerce industry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The funds will be used to\u00a0increase\u00a0the reach of Arabic books across the globe. They will empower\u00a0Jamalon\u00a0to continue\u00a0disrupting\u00a0the\u00a0MENA publishing sector by scaling-up its innovative Print-on-Demand service,\u00a0already\u00a0active\u00a0and able to print\u00a0over\u00a02\u00a0million\u00a0titles in\u00a0under\u00a05\u00a0minutes per book.\u00a0The service\u00a0gives instant\u00a0global\u00a0access to thousands of Arabic writers and publishers at incomparable\u00a0prices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamalon\u00a0was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer,\u00a0Ala\u2019 Alsallal,\u00a0and now offers\u00a0over\u00a010 million publications in\u00a0both\u00a0Arabic and English. It currently partners with more than 3,000 Arabic and 27,000 English language publishers, and in 2018, sold\u00a0books to customers across 111 in a market valued at $1.7 billion.
