{"id":3542,"date":"2019-02-02T07:26:33","date_gmt":"2019-02-02T07:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shahennews.com\/eng\/?p=3542"},"modified":"2019-02-02T07:26:33","modified_gmt":"2019-02-02T07:26:33","slug":"abu-dhabi-fund-earmarks-dh184m-for-development-projects-in-comoros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shahennews.com\/eng\/archives\/3542\/abu-dhabi-fund-earmarks-dh184m-for-development-projects-in-comoros\/","title":{"rendered":"Abu Dhabi Fund Earmarks Dh184m for Development Projects in Comoros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>shaheennews<\/p>\n<p>The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD)\u00a0today formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of the Comoros, which stipulates that the ADFD will offer AED 184 million (US$50 million) to fund the Comorian government&#8217;s various development programs and projects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Comoros President\u00a0<em>Azali Assoumani<\/em> attended the signing of the MoU, which was signed by Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the ADFD and H<em>.E.<\/em>\u00a0Mr.\u00a0<em>Mohamed El<\/em>\u00a0Amine Souef,\u00a0Comoros <em>Minister<\/em>\u00a0of\u00a0<em>Foreign Affairs<\/em>,\u00a0<em>International Cooperation<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Francophonie<\/em>, in\u00a0<em>charge<\/em>\u00a0of Comorians\u00a0<em>abroad.<\/em> Government officials and senior representatives of the two entities also attended the signing ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the <em>UAE delegation visit<\/em>\u00a0to Comoros\u2019 Capital city Moroni, to discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in all areas related to economic, trade, investment and development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, H.E.
