On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Jordan Office organized the “2025 World Friends Korea Volunteer Program Partners Workshop” to enhance the program\u2019s efficiency, allowing the program partners to familiarize themselves with the new procedures and mechanisms for receiving volunteers, while also providing them with an opportunity to express their valuable opinions and suggestions.
The workshop was commenced by KOICA Jordan Office Country Director Ms. Kim So Young, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the program’s partners for their unwavering cooperation and contribution to its success over the past 19 years, and to the volunteers who came to Jordan to share their knowledge and experiences.
The workshop covered the introduction of the volunteers’ request process and service regulations. In addition, the workshop included an explanation of KOICA\u2019s customer satisfaction policy and the Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index (PSCI) survey, which aims to measure and improve the level of KOICA partners\u2019 satisfaction.
Highlighting the role and impact of KOICA volunteers, Ms. Ami Kim, a current KOICA volunteer serving as a Korean language teacher at Hashemite University, shared her experiences and the upcoming activities she plans to implement during her service.
Furthermore, Dr. Dana Mahadeen from Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) presented the successful outcome of the project implemented by Mr. Kang Hongmin, a previous KOICA volunteer at the University, which led to the establishment of a Student Consultation Room at the BAU main campus in Al-Salt with KOICA\u2019s support. The room is designed to provide a supportive space for students interested in academic exchange and international cooperation, fostering greater cross-cultural understanding and global engagement.
The workshop concluded with a feedback session where KOICA partners voiced their questions, concerns, and opinions regarding KOICA and the World Friends Korea Volunteers Program. KOICA reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to support Jordan and expressed its determination to continuously improve Jordan\u2019s experience through dedicated efforts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
