The Jordanian-Hungarian Joint Committee has focused on ways to improve economic cooperation and increase trade volume beyond current levels during its third session in Budapest from July 3 to 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Headed by Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply and Minister of Labor Yousef Shamali and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto, the meeting addressed various topics with the goal of improving bilateral cooperation between the two countries, specifically in the economic sector and utilizing the opportunities currently available.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Shamali emphasized the importance of the joint committee as a sign of both countries’ dedication to expanding cooperation in economic, trade, and investment areas, facilitating exhibitions, and encouraging the private sector to diversify Jordan’s export offerings to Hungary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n He added that Jordan is keen to establish economic collaboration with Hungary, especially given the current obstacles posed by the pandemic, geopolitical circumstances, and turmoil in certain areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Hungarian minister emphasized the significance of the committee in enhancing economic cooperation and trade between Jordan and Hungary, given the “strategic and distinguished” relations between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n He expressed his country’s willingness to enhance cooperation with Jordan in various areas, including but not limited to water, agriculture, tourism, and education.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n An agreement was made to create logistical zones in Jordan and Hungary, along with continuing education scholarships for Jordanian students to pursue studies in Hungary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Shamali and Siarto also chaired the Jordanian-Hungarian Business Forum held on the sidelines of the committee’s session, which brought together over 50 private sector companies from both countries, where a memorandum of understanding was inked to boost cooperation between the two private sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \/\/Petra\/\/ AO<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" shahennews The Jordanian-Hungarian Joint Committee has focused on ways to improve economic cooperation and increase trade volume beyond current levels during its third session in Budapest from July 3 to 4.
