A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, becoming 3-4 degrees below the annual average, and bringing cold and cloudy weather conditions with intermittent showers in much of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Rainfall will be heavy at times, especially in the northern region, the JMD added, noting that the weather will start to stabilize at night as the precipitation will gradually decrease.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Additionally, the weather service issued alerts about flash floods, slick roads in the areas experiencing rain, and poor horizontal visibility due to dense fog.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mercury levels will rise again on Thursday.
