Irbid’s exports in the first quarter of 2022 spiked by 21.8 percent compared to the same period of 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to an Irbid Chamber of Industry (ICI) statement on Tuesday, exports of the first four months of the current year amounted to $323 million compared to $265 million last year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Head of ICI Hani Abu Hassan said Al Hassan Industrial Estate exported $297 million, while Cyber City’s exports stood at $21 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The textile and leather sector maintained a leading position in the sector-based exports with a value of $292 million, followed by the medical industries sector by $9 million, the foodstuffs products by $8.7 million, he said.
