Local authorities said that the casualties were reported at Fuji Township of Luxian county, noting that the quake occurred at 4:33 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to China Earthquake Networks Centre (CENC), the epicenter was monitored at 29.2 degrees north latitude and 105.34 degrees east longitude, saying that the earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earthquake relief headquarters of Sichuan has activated a level-II response, the second highest in China\u2019s four-tier earthquake emergency response system.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
