Ukrainian envoy: Jordan solidifies its position as influential regional power

Under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s guidance, Jordan has solidified its position as an influential regional power and a stronghold of peace and stability, an undeniable achievement that has paved the way towards well-being of all citizens of the Kingdom and gained respect and recognition by the international community, Ukrainian Ambassador to Jordan, Myroslava Shcherbatiuk, said.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Ukrainian embassy in Amman, the ambassador extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Royal Family and the people of Jordan on the 22nd anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.
“It is a special day that stands for a new era in the modern history of Jordan marked with a lot of accomplishments and progress but also with tremendous unprecedented challenges never seen before,” the envoy further said.
“One could hardly imagine the scope of personal responsibilities and duties bestowed on the Leader and a number of every-day issues to be addressed by His Majesty constantly, with no exclusion, during these two decades of service and sacrifice,” she also added.
On the Ukrainian-Jordanian relations, the ambassador stressed that during these years, the two countries have strengthened their ties of friendship and cooperation and share a common vision on the future of their relations.
She concluded “on this solemn occasion, we extend our sincere wishes of strong health and success for His Majesty King Abdullah II, along with welfare and prosperity for the people of Jordan.”
