Three Palestinian citizens were wounded, while others suffered suffocations on Thursday during violent clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Aida camp north of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a Palestinian source.

During the clashes, the occupation soldiers fired bullets and toxic tear gas canisters against the locals, leaving three youths injured and others suffocated, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement, adding that they were taken to the Beit Jala hospital.

Also today, Israeli troops stormed the cities of Nablus, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Al-Bireh and Hebron and arrested 16 citizens, under the pretext that they are wanted by the occupation authorities, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society.
