Tuesday, a lawyer from the Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority Khaled Mahajneh said Monday he visited, for the first time, the two Jordanian detainees who crossed into Occupied Palestine from Jordan. He told Roya that the young men are being held in extremely bad conditions in Israeli Occupation interrogation centers, noting that they are both in bad health condition.
Mahajneh said that the detention centers where they are being held lack basic humanitarian living standards. They are given bad food, and are handcuffed and shackled during the day.
He added that they continue to be interrogated for 10 hours every day and warned that their health is deteriorating.
Mahajneh demanded that the Israeli Occupation authorities must immediately release the detainees, noting that one of them is in critical health condition.
Mahajneh pointed out that the Israeli Occupation investigators are trying to pressure the detainees to admit that they came with the intention to carry out a terrorist act.
The two Jordanian citizens crossed over during protests against the Israeli Occupation’s aggression on Gaza.
