Two regular COVID-19 cases recorded after exposure to Indian strain

Tuesday, the director of Zarqa Health Directorate, Khalil Al-Rawahneh, confirmed that two individuals contracted regular coronavirus infections after they came into contact with the person who tested positive for the Indian COVID-19 strain in Zarqa.
Rawahneh told Roya that the two individuals were subjected to home-quarantine and PCR tests will be conducted on everyone they came into contact with.
He indicated that around 150 samples were taken from those who came into contact with the person who contracted the Indian COVID-19 strain.
Saturday, three cases of the Indian COVID-19 strain were detected, involving two in Amman and one in Zarqa.
Monday, another individual tested positive for the Indian strain in Aqaba.
This brings the total number of those who tested positive for the Indian coronavirus strain in Jordan to four.
