Awqaf Ministry announces Tarawih, Isha prayers timings

The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Al-Khalaileh, announced Thursday that Muslim worshippers are allowed to perform Tarawih and Isha prayers in mosques on foot for a period of 45 minutes between 8:45pm and 9:30pm.

He called on worshipers to adhere to public safety measures such as wearing face masks, social distancing and bringing prayer mats.

Women’s prayer halls will be open for women’s prayer within the declared health restrictions.
