Fair weather forecast for three days

Shahennews

A tangible drop in mercury levels is predicted, becoming around annual average and bringing fair weather conditions nationwide with low clouds in the northern and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday.

Winds will be westerly active, blowing dust and causing poor horizontal visibility in the Badia areas, the JMD added.

On Tuesday, pleasant weather will prevail across the Kingdom with low altitude-clouds and a weak chance of light showers of rain in the morning hours over the northern areas, the JMD expected, noting that winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.

Toward Wednesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, making relatively hot weather in the Badia, the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, while it will remain moderate in the highlands and the plains, the JMD further said.

Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 22 degrees Celsius, dropping to 9C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 33C, dipping to 18C during night hours.
