Hangar fire extinguished in Balqa

Saturday, firefighting teams in the Balqa Civil Defense Directorate extinguished a fire inside a hangar belonging to one of the polystyrene factories in the Deir Alla region. 

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the hangar contains raw materials involved in producing polystyrene. 

The area of the fire was estimated at 500 square meters.

The firefighting teams’ response greatly contributed to restricting the fire and not spreading it to the rest of the neighboring places.

The media spokesman said that the fire did not result in any casualties, and an investigation was opened into the accident.
