Cold weather conditions forecast to bring scattered showers countrywide today

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast, on Sunday, as relatively cold weather prevail countrywide, with a chance of scattered showers in the northern of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be westerly moderate, picking up at times, the JMD added.

The weather department warned of low visibility due to dust, namely, in the Badia regions and slippery roads, the JMD noted.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 25 degrees during the day, while lows will stand at 14 degrees at night.
