NCCMS: Registration for vaccination prerequisite for Friday mobility permits

The National Center for Crisis Management and Security (NCCMS) on Monday said registration for Covid vaccination or having a proof of receiving a shot or two of the vaccine will be a prerequisite for mobility permits during Friday lockdowns.

The decision, which comes into effect as of next Friday, applies to those who work for key departments and establishments and are usually exempt from the 24-hour blanket lockdown, the center said.

It indicated that the move is part of a larger national effort aimed at the inoculation of the largest number of citizens and residents against the respiratory disease.
