Court holds first hearing in deadly hospital oxygen outage case

Thirteen defendants stood before an Amman court on Sunday facing charges of involuntary manslaughter following the death of 7 coronavirus patients at Al-Salt Public Hospital earlier this month as a result of an oxygen supply outage.

The defendants, who each faces 7 counts of involuntary manslaughter, pleaded not guilty before the Amman Magistrate’s Court.
