People were paid to scare Jordanians out of taking vaccines

The Minister of Health and Former Minister of Education Walid Al-Maani said Thursday that a return to normal life in Jordan will not take place before the vaccination of about four million Jordanian citizens which requires about 22,000 vaccinations per day.
Speaking to the Voice of Life radio program, he added that the number of cases will increase in the coming days.
“We’re going to reach the peak,” he said.
He explained that people who have been infected with the coronavirus must take the vaccine, because the virus does not raise their immunity sufficiently.
And he demanded the government to speed up the process of vaccinating citizens, explaining that the vaccination rate has not exceeded 1 percent so far, at a time when other countries have reached high rates of vaccination.
He indicated that rumors and false news on social media, from some people and doctors who were paid to drive fear into the Jordanian people, contributed to the reluctance to take vaccines.
