Cold weather expected on highlands

Mercury levels are expected to dip few degrees on Wednesday, becoming around seasonal average, so it will be relatively cold in the highlands and plains, and fair in other parts of the Kingdom, with low clouds in the northern and central regions, and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar weather conditions will continue to persist on Thursday and Friday, with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to active winds, stirring dust at times, mainly in the Badia areas.
Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 18C, dropping to 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 28C, dipping to 13C during night hours.
