Palestinian President declares state of emergency over COVID-19

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday declared a 30-day state of emergency, starting today.

The decree was issued to confront the spreading of coronavirus pandemic in the country, as Palestine has recorded an increasing number of COVID-19 deaths and cases.
