Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise few degrees, so it will be relatively cold in most regions of the country, and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds at high and medium altitudes are also forecast to appear with a weak chance of light showers in the evening in some areas, the JMD added, noting that winds will be southeasterly moderate.

The weather department warned of frost formation in the early morning hours over the highlands and the Badia, poor visibility in the desert due to dust, and of slippery roads in the areas experiencing rain.

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions. Therefore, partly cloudy weather will prevail with spotty showers that may turn heavy accompanied by thunder, lightning and hail in the southern, south eastern and parts of the central regions, causing flash floods in the valleys and low-lying areas, the meteorologists predicted, noting that winds will be southeasterly moderate to active, stirring dust in the desert.

As we head into Wednesday, relatively cold and partly cloudy weather will continue to persist with downpours and thunder at times in some areas, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, the forecasters said.

Temperatures in Amman will reach 15 degrees Celsius , dropping to 4C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, dipping to 13C during night hours.
