China’s National Health Commission (NHC) on Tuesday said that 82 new coronavirus infections were recorded over the last 24 hours, including 69 local cases.

In a daily COVID-19 statement, the commission said that it had received reports of 89,197 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in the Chinese mainland, and in all 82,676 patients had been cured and discharged from hospitals.
