Senate president praises Kingdom’s ties with Bangladesh

Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez has affirmed the strong relations between Jordan and Bangladesh in various domains, and lauded the level of economic growth in the South Asian country.

Al-Fayez’s remarks came during his meeting on Sunday evening with Bangladesh Ambassador to Jordan, Nahida Sobhan, at the inauguration ceremony of the “Bangabandhu Corner” gallery held by the embassy in Amman.

The gallery includes pictures of the life of the founder of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

On her turn, the Ambassador welcomed the visitors to the gallery, describing Bangabandhu as “the messenger of freedom”.
