Police nabs five suspects in possession of firearms

 The security agents have arrested five people in the Ajloun, Karak, Madaba and Al-Ruwaished regions, in possession of seven unlicensed firearms,according to a police source.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the police investigation teams have arrested five people involved in festive firing- two in northern Ajloun governorate, and the rest suspects were nabbed in Karak, Madaba and Al-Ruwaished areas, as seven firearms were seized in their possession.
Among the suspects were three who were found to have fired shots at the headquarters of winning parliamentary candidates, added the spokesperson.
