Gaza confirms 272 coronavirus infections

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said Monday it recorded 272 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said in its daily report that 2,415 COVID-19 swab tests were taken in the coastal enclave and that 106 patients recovered.
The new infections raised the caseload in Gaza since March to 7,002, including 2,549 active cases, 4,419 recoveries and 34 deaths, it added.
