IEC refers candidate in Ramtha to prosecution

The Independent Election Commission (IEC), on Friday, referred a candidate in Ramtha district to the prosecutor’s office due to committing a number of violations.

According to the IEC, the candidate violated defense orders, executive instructions governing electoral propaganda, and avoided health procedures applied by the Health Ministry in his electoral campaign headquarters, as well as, using of festive firing at electoral headquarters by a number of the candidate’s supporters.
