Jordanian-Kuwaiti ties a unique model in pan- Arab action, says interior minister

 Minister of Interior, Tawfiq Al-Halimah, said the “strong and deep-rooted” Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations constitute a “unique” model in the joint and comprehensive pan-Arab action, which led to furthering the achievements and gains that serve interests of the two brotherly peoples.
During his meeting on Saturday with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Jordan, Aziz Dihani, the minister added that the attention of the two countries’ leaderships to the existing relations enabled the Jordanian and Kuwaiti sides to expand these ties, in various political, economic, social and security fields.
Affirming the Jordanian government’s keenness to provide all means of care and attention to the Kuwaiti and Gulf brethern residing on the Kingdom’s soil, Al-Halimah said the Ministry of Interior constantly monitors the conditions of the Kuwaiti brethern on the Kingdom’s territory in a manner that ensures resolving all obstacles facing them, and helping them achieve the goals of their stay in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the two sides went over ways of joint cooperation in the fields of security, information exchange, visits and experiences.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador indicated that the Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations are “getting stronger gradually”, as a result of the bilateral historical, geographical and national ties.
The envoy pointed to the importance of the joint partnership, and the need to support and strengthen it to serve interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Dihani also praised the Ministry of the Interior’s efforts, represented by its various agencies, to assist the Kuwaiti subjects, provide facilitations to them, and overcome any difficulties they might face during their stay on the Kingdom’s territory.
