China reports 11 new COVID-19 cases

 China has reported 11 new infections from the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours, all were imported, the National Health Commission (NHC) said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the NHC said that it had received reports of 85,715 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland, and in all 80,834 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital.

“The 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland reported 15 new asymptomatic cases (all were imported cases),” it added.
