AND nabs 12 drug dealers in Zarqa, Irbid

 The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) apprehended 12 drug dealers in the Zarqa and Irbid governorates, according to an official.

Spokesperson of the Public Security Department on Tuesday said the AND personnel carried out a security campaign on individuals considered “dangerous” and repeat offenders of drug trafficking in Zarqa. The raid resulted in the arrest of 9 people and the seizure of different amounts of narcotics.

In Irbid, police arrested 3 dealers and seized 3 firearms, 9 Kilograms of synthetic cannabis (locally known as Joker), and various quantities of narcotics.
